About Me
My design philosophy is rooted in purpose. Great design should clarify complexity, empower people and serve a meaningful need. A great UX should be like breathing. Effortless.
Hello again

I’m a digital product designer with over 20 years of experience. I began in fine arts—painting, photography, furniture design, and glass blowing—but at 23, I had my first existential crisis. I went back to school for a design degree, and then everything clicked. Since then, I’ve spent the first half of my career designing responsive websites and the second focused on native applications. Long story short: I love what I do, and I have fun doing it.
Over the years, I’ve worked in agencies, in-house product teams, higher ed, and for my own clients—both in-office and remote. That versatility shows up in my work. My foundation in communication design gives me a strong grasp of typography, color theory, and visual storytelling, which I bring to every digital product and system I touch.

I live just outside of Richmond, Virginia in Louisa County on six wooded acres with my husband, three boys, two cats, and a sizable telescope. We spend a lot of time outdoors—pitching tents in the backyard, hiking nearby trails, and escaping to the mountains when we can. Our home includes a dedicated Lego room… (and yes, a Lego Master has slept there).
